Asphalt shingle roofsThe everyday Rhode Island roof, replaced with coastal wind in mind.
Triple-decker and flat roofsLow-slope roofs behind cornices on Providence, Pawtucket and Woonsocket three-families.
Cedar shingle roofsThe shingle-style look of Newport and the shore, in natural or treated cedar.
Standing seam metalConcealed-fastener panels for wind, salt air and snow.
Wind and storm damageWhen a nor'easter or hurricane leaves a roof that needs replacing.
Replacement, not patchwork
The roofers reached through this line take on full replacements: a whole roof, or a whole section such as a porch, dormer or addition roof. When a roof has reached the point where patches no longer hold, a tear-off lets the roofer see the deck, fix what is under the shingles and build the new roof properly from the wood up.

Common questions
+Can I change materials when the roof is replaced?
Usually. Going from cedar or slate to asphalt, or asphalt to metal, is common. In a local historic district the change may need commission approval first, and moving to a much heavier material calls for a framing check.
+How long does a replacement take?
Most single-family shingle roofs take one to two working days. Cedar, metal and triple-decker roofs take longer, and weather can move any schedule.
